Convivio - Business as Usual
In the early hours of Monday 28th September a fire broke out in the loft of Convivio.
Thankfully, a passer-by spotted the smoke early on. The fire service was called to the scene and managed to put the fire out quickly enough to prevent it spreading to the restaurant and bar floors. Miraculously they were completely unaffected.
We had to close for a couple of days until all damage had been assessed and all necessary repairs had been completed but fortunately we are now back to normal.
A man has since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and arson and has been released on bail.
We want to take this opportunity to thank Cheshire Fire Service for acting so quickly and effectively.
Thank you to Cheshire Police for their ongoing support and indeed everyone who has helped us to get Convivio back on track in such a short period of time.
