Chester Race Company is a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation. The company’s vision is that it becomes synonymous in people’s psyche as a first option in deciding what to do in their “leisure” time. The extensive “what’s on” list is grown season on season with racing as its core product offering. The Racecourse now also offers: polo, horse show, concerts, fine dining, theatre box office, the circus etc. In the medium term we continue to work towards guaranteeing that all events that take place at Chester & Bangor-on-Dee Racecourses are all organized to the same exacting standards and provide visitors to the event of their choice with a 1st class “experience”.
The Chester Race Company Limited [“CRCL”] has been established since 1892. In 2002, CRCL acquired Bangor on Dee racecourse and in 2003, the Express Holiday Inn Hotel at Chester Racecourse franchise.
In January 2005, Heathcotes Outside, owned by the celebrated chef Paul Heathcote, entered into partnership with Chester Racecourse raising the benchmark in sport stadia catering. The relationship between the two organisations is driven by a mutual desire for an innovative and fresh approach to catering services.
In 2006, Chester Race Company assumed responsibility for all events that take place on the Roodee and as a result, everything that takes place has been subjected to a rigorous review process to ensure each event is in line with the Chester Racecourse hallmark of excellence.
