Upcoming fixtures for 2008

2008 Racing began with the three day May Festival putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally. After May, another 11 days / evenings of racing are on offer throughout the summer totalling 14 race days / evenings during the season.

Each fixture has its own unique identity to ensure a wide-ranging appeal. The Midsummer Meeting on Friday 27th (Eve) and Saturday 28th June and Sunday Fun day on 3rd August are geared to encouraging families to enjoy the races; the Dressed to Impress evenings and the July Friday evening / Saturday heighten the hugely social and fashionable components of a visit to the races; the September Dee Festival encourages those race goers loyal to either flat racing at Chester or jump racing at Bangor to visit both Racecourses on two consecutive days.
